“True North Strong and Free”

2012 Jet, themed “True North Strong and Free” Featured murals of Inuit and wildlife, Northern lights, etc. Fuselage featured lightning bolts (to honour 425 Squadron’s 70th anniversary), as well as 13 individual snowflakes, depicting various aspects the North, from its people to its culture, its history (gold rush, North West passage exploration) to its resources and its climatic challenges (in one snow flake design, a polar bear gingerly steps onto smaller and smaller pieces of pack ice)
